Merchants and a card-security group will work out agent payment rules, liability included
The Secure Technology Alliance and the Merchant Advisory Group will work together on how AI agents initiate and authenticate payments, which card gets chosen, and where liability lands when an agent purchase goes wrong; there is no spec yet. For an IBM i shop that takes orders, keep agent orders arriving through one door that records which agent acted and for whom, so the order record already holds what these rules will ask for.
