Shopify puts card-network agent payments into Shop Pay, and the agent never sees the card
Shopify has built Visa, Mastercard and American Express agentic payment technology into Shop Pay, so a buyer's agent can check out at merchants on or off Shopify without ever holding the card. If agent orders reach your IBM i order entry through a storefront, record them as agent-placed with the network token reference, and test that payment matching and chargeback handling accept a token where a card used to be.
